INSTAGRAM Summer 2017 instalation at their HQ in Paris

Lucie was commissioned by Instagram to imagine a summer instalation for the Facebook and Instagram head office in Paris.

Boticellis famous painting; the Birth of Venus inspired Lucie to create a life sized 2017 tech updated backdrop where the instagramer can be Venus, ridding ashore to beautiful angels on a giant scallop.

Giant instagram stickers where ALSO MADE SO AS TO play with the boundaries between handmade and digital. The instalation was completed in two days, it is made of Foamboard cut outs hand painted in Black indian ink.

Lucie loves getting viewers to actively engage with artworks and would like to create many more famous tableaus like this. Many thanks to Amina Belghiti for making this dream come true in such a short time!
